Dr Suzanne Stevens is a developmental research psychologist, course director for HLTHPSYC 122, Behaviour, Health and Development, module co-coordinator for PCS1 and runs the Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health (ICAMH) Research Group. Her research on early adverse experiences and child development is focused on maternal substance use, mental health and the home environment to better understand how risk and protective factors operate, and the interactive effects on children’s social, behavioural, cognitive and neurodevelopment.
